Kaw Valley Hosts Shred Day

In conjunction with its annual Community Bank Week celebration, the Kaw Valley State Bank is hosting a Free Shred Day, Tuesday, April 21st from 11:00 AM1:00 PM at its Wamego branch, located at 1015 Kaw Valley Park Circle.

Document Resources, the area’s only locally owned AAA Certified information security company, will be on site to shred individual and household materials.  The public need not worry about removing staples or paper clips.  For compliance purposes, only personal and household materials will be accepted at no charge on the day of the event.

“This is our way of helping our community to combat identity theft, to recycle, and to say thank you to our friends and neighbors for over 96 years of support.  And, so that more people can take advantage of this terrific service, we do ask that individuals limit themselves to 3 bags or boxes per household,” stated Audrey Taggart-Kagdis, Community Bank Week Coordinator.

For more information about this event or any of its other Community Bank Week activities, contact the Kaw Valley State Bank at 785-456-2021.
