Freeze Receives Promotion

The Kaw Valley State Bank of Wamego and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Kathy Freeze, Teller Coordinator, has been promoted to Officer status.  She will continue on with her duties in the coordination and supervision of the teller area.

"Having someone like Kathy to keep our front line area grounded and growing is an important factor in our daily business operations," stated Ed Martin, Kaw Valley's President.

Having graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Medical Technology, Freeze has worn many hats in her lifetime; including being one of the women who started and owned the Friendship House Restaurant from 1989-1998.  Freeze began her career with the Kaw Valley State Bank in May of 2000.

Kathy, her husband, Jerry, have been residents of Wamego for 29 years.  They have three children:  Allison, Eric, and David.
