KVB Coat Collection
For the second year in a row, the Kaw Valley State Bank teamed up with local businesses to collect over 160 new and gently used coats.
Collection bins, provided by JR Furniture/UHaul, were placed at the following establishments: CATTS Gymnastics, EB Design, Wamego Drug Store, Wamego Public Library, Vanderbilt’s, and Kaw Valley State Bank,. Each coat was cleaned, courtesy of Dry Clean City, and given to the Community Health Ministry for distribution.
“I am fortunate to work for such a community minded organization. It is an honor to be able to help in any way I can,” commented Audrey Taggart-Kagdis, KVB’s coat collection coordinator.
